Welcome

Byeways Bowling Club was formed in 1996 by a small group of local enthusiastic people. Since then, from humble beginnings, it has gone from strength to strength.

We have a first class green and pavilion with good facilities and an excellent bar with very reasonable prices for those after match celebrations, or commiserations!

We also have coaches who can teach non-bowlers to bowl in specially arranged training sessions. Meanwhile experienced bowlers are most welcome.

A wide range of social events are carried out during the winter, from Quiz Nights to Fancy Dress Fish and Chip suppers.

We also have a public rink which is available to hire at certain times. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Club House

Our licensed Club House can accommodate a wide range of fixtures. When you arrive to play you can get changed into your playing whites in the purpose built seperate male and female changing rooms.

Then have a friendly pre-match drink before the game – and then an after game celebration for the winners !

A wide selection of food, both hot and cold can be provided. On a warm summers day there is nothing like an after match drink and a bite to eat on the terrace.

The clubhouse also serves as a social meeting point for the club, in and out of season.
